Hi everyone, welcome to Add Home with Sally. I'm Sally Clarkson and I have the biggest

privilege in the world to be with so many friends from all over the world who join me every

week to listen to my stories, inspiration, biblical encouragement and I am just so glad

that you're here today. Thanks so much for joining me.

Hi everyone, welcome to Add Home with Sally and friends and today I have one of my best

est friends in the whole world. I'm sitting here with sweet, wonderful joy. Hello everybody.

And joy is my daughter for those of you who are new. I have four children. Joy is my

daughter who's getting a PhD in theology and the imagination of the arts in St Andrews.

And many of you know that she has a wonderful podcast called Speaking with Joy.

And tell about it Joy. Well, so I'm really interested in how the arts shape our hearts

and our souls and our minds. And I had a lot of people kind of say that they were interested

in learning more about the arts or knowing more books to read and beautiful things to listen

to, but kind of feeling a little bit stalled on where to start. So I every single week

choose a theme so it could be everything from home to judgment to humor. And then I

explore that theme through three pieces of art, something visual, something literary

and something musical. And the goal of that is to help us think more creatively to give

you something beautiful and good and true throughout your week. I think we're all kind

of overwhelmed. It's really wonderful. Thank you. I think our world is overwhelmed. It's

a wash with information with bad news with arguments and kind of fluff. And so being

able to have something that's that's enjoyable, but that's that feels our hearts and souls.

That's kind of my goal for it to give people a reservoir of good things to draw from
