special episode for us.

It's not our typical episode where we are reacting to news of the week, but it really is inspired

by a question from one of our patrons in our Facebook group who was asking how he could get involved this election season and I think all of us have been struggling to be our best selves in terms of getting involved this election season.

I know for myself, I had planned to do all these things that now are on hold in large part because of the pandemic.

And I don't think you're alone, not just for getting voters out, but I've talked to a few

committee men in the Chicago land area and you know because I was running a campaign until March

17th hard and heavy you know and I don't even think we knew if we had won what our plans

are going to be but I get the sense that even down the ballot candidates are not necessarily

gearing up in the way I would like them to because you know whether or not it's a

Democrat living in a blue area where they're assuming that they're going to get all the votes.

There should be a lot of groundwork being done now engaging people getting

especially with what's going on. Obviously in Chicago, there are a lot of issues

that people are paying attention to.
