Holy crap.

How is it Thanksgiving week?

I feel like September went by so slowly. and October and November, literally blink of an

eye, not even, like half a blink of an eye. But we are here. We are officially in the holiday

season. And I know that that can get really difficult for people who are single and who, you know,

might be the last single person in their family

or you go home for the holidays and everybody says,

like, why are you still single?

Or so is there anyone you should tell me about?

And I know it can be really stressful.

I know it can be really triggering for a lot of people.

I know the holidays are like such a triggering time for so many reasons.

But I want to start by saying,

for those who have siblings or cousins or daughters and sons or anyone in their family who is coming home for the holidays and you're

going to be seeing them, just don't ask them, why are you still single? Or don't ask, when are you going to have someone to bring to the holidays?

Like, please, please, please do not ask them that question because I promise you, they're trying.

And there's no good answer to that question.

There's no satisfying answer.

And it's just a really frustrating thing to hear.

And the same goes for giving unsolicited dating advice.
