Every other word she had to say died down in her throat that instant.

Elias wasn't done, slipping his hands to her waist and pushing her backward until her ass was

on the table where their rough drafts were scattered all over.

"'You need to calm down, Maya,' he whispered, kissing down her neck and leaving a trail of heat

on her skin.

She gasped, taking her nails into his shoulder, trying to stop her body from enjoying the

feeling as much as it did, but she couldn't.
