Hey, sweet friends, welcome back to another episode where just you and I are going to be hanging out today.

It's really sweet. I am loving these solo episodes where I get to pull it behind the mic and in whatever

scenario I find myself right now it is before Hunter wakes up and it just happened to be the only time that I could record this week.

So it's quiet this morning. It's still, it is a really sweet moment. I'm watching the trees

sway outside. It's a little stormy here in June, but I'm just grateful. I'm so grateful.

And despite the weather that I'm having here, I wanted to

talk about summer today. And I wanted to talk about what summer means for us as Christians,

what the Bible describes summer as, and how you and I can maximize this season, whether our

schedules look awfully the same as normal or whether our schedules

are completely different with kids out of school and vacations and spontaneity all the things

what does it look like for us to remain rooted in jesus and to get the most growth and

encouragement and sanctification and joy out of the season that maybe

some of us are not really sure what to do with. I've shared this before on the podcast and on
