For the last day of the year,

we're going to take time to simply make space for God to fill.

Whenever we make a little room in our day and in our hearts for God,

it always amazes me how he can fill us with exactly what we need.

So today, simply make room for God for whatever you need most

and allow him to fill that space with his good and perfect nearness.

Welcome to the first 15 podcast. Our scripture for today comes from Psalm 46 verse 10.

Scripture says, be still and know that I am God.

I will be exalted among the nations. I will be exalted among the nations.

I will be exalted in the earth.

The story of Mary, Martha, and Jesus found in Luke 10

encapsulates God's longing for simple, unfettered relationship with his children.

As this year comes to a close, I pray that this story would set a fire in our hearts

to live out of unhindered union with our Heavenly Father.

I pray that we would seek to continually make space in our lives

for the one thing that truly matters.

Scripture says in Luke chapter 10,

verses 38 through 42.

Now as they went on their way,

Jesus entered a village.

And a woman named Martha welcomed him into her house.

And she had a sister called Mary, who sat at the Lord's feet and listened to his teaching.
