Hey everyone, this is Josh. I just wanted to take a moment and acknowledge the fact that today's episode of Make My Day was recorded a few weeks ago,

specifically before a black man named George Floyd was murdered by police in Minneapolis, touching off a series of protests across the country.

It's not my place as a white person to center my thoughts and feelings right now, but it would

be irresponsible to remain silent as nationwide protests are met with brutal force by

law enforcement.

As a small gesture of solidarity with the protests, in addition to the grand prize

donation won by today's contestant, that Make My Day producers have donated $500 to nationwide

bail funds to help free protesters

who have been arrested. As a quick aside, bill funds are always a good place to give money

if you can afford it. I urge listeners to donate as well if they have a few bucks to spare to this

or to other causes related to the Black Lives Matter movement. I'll put some links in the show notes.

With that said, today's Make My Day episode

than basically anything all year.
