Summary

Mercury retrograde gets a bad rap, but it’s actually a great opportunity for cleaning up and cleaning out. The energy supports you to clean stuff up. Instead of working against it, we use this shadowy time to clean up the emotional clutter in our own shadow and subconscious. It's brilliant!

This week, Danielle shares two decades of Mercury retrograde experiments (including surveying cell phone customer service reps about their ticket volume—spoiler: it spikes).

She talks about why Instagram girlies who freak out about Mercury retrograde are missing the point.

This cosmic cleanup period is prime time for letting go and slowing down, to purge and clean out your drawers.

Crunchy emotions? Feel them and let them pass through. Be mindful about how we communicate. We can use this energy to create more space and clarity in our lives.

In this episode:

  • 2025 Mercury retrograde dates (including the shadow periods that nobody talks about—one to two weeks before and after retrograde)
  • What it actually means (and why it’s not all chaos)
  • A spiritual perspective on why the “backwards” energy is actually a blessing
  • Why merc retro is the best time for letting go—emotionally, physically, digitally
  • Danielle’s “things I will NOT do” list: signing contracts, booking flights, making travel plans
  • Why she burns her journals every 3 to 5  years
  • The Gayatri Mantra as a vibrational tool for this season
