What a week.

And it's only Tuesday.

No, it's Thursday when you're hearing this.

It's Tuesday while I'm recording it.

Heck of a job, America.

Heck of a job.

No notes. No notes. I will say that there is some good news that I

completely overreact to, which was that Simon the cattle dog Basset hound mix won New York City Dog Mayor.

And when I tell you that I started like tearing up in happiness when I saw the

quote unquote news, I wish I were joking.

It was one of those things that affected me way more than it should have, considering the events of the last week.

I wish the dog mayor election mattered more.

But it was the small, and not small, just sort of short and long, stubby legs, floppy ears.

He's such a great dog.

If you don't know Simon, he's our dog mayor elect here in New York City.

He is so cute.
