Summary

Cindy Gallop is on a mission to remove all taboos and stigma from sexual wellness and put the values back into our sex lives. A British gal like me, she studied at Oxford University in the UK and then went into advertising, again just like me, so we have had very similar paths to be champions of sexual wellness and sex positivity. We take an intimate look into Cindy's own sex life (spoiler alert) it involves only dating men in their 20's (she is in her 60's) and rebelling against the pressure to have a marriage, a volvo and 2.2 kids. 1:03.3	How are you, my dear? I'm great and I'm thrilled to be here, Kate. Well, as you know, I pretty much made my podcast after a conversation I had with you a couple of years ago and I just thought,

1:15.1	And I just have followed you the last few years. And you have an absolutely fascinating story.
1:24.1	First of all, I want you to explain to our listeners what Make Love Not Porn is all about.
1:33.5	Start from the beginning.
1:35.3	Sure.
1:36.2	So, you know, I guess the first thing to say, Kate, is that make love not porn is a complete and total accident because I never consciously intentionally set out to do anything
1:45.8	that I very bizarrely find myself doing now, it came about through my personal experience
1:51.4	dating younger men, the men I date tend to be in their 20s, and realizing 15 years ago
1:58.8	through my direct experience that when we don't talk openly and honestly
2:04.9	about sex in the real world, porn becomes sex education by default in not a good way.
2:11.6	And being a naturally action-oriented person, I went, I'm going to do something about this.
