So my family and I, we watch this documentary on Disney Plus. No, that is not a plug for Disney Plus.

0:36.4

I might get in trouble for some of those

0:37.6

who are listening saying we watch Disney Plus, but we do. So we were watching this documentary,

0:42.9

and it was called The Rescue. And it's about a boys soccer team in Thailand. It was 12 boys back in

0:49.4

2018 who were with their soccer coach. And it was after after practice one day and they went for an adventure

0:55.1

and it began to rain. It wasn't quite rainy season yet, so they weren't expecting the rain.

1:00.3

And they went into this cave and they were exploring in this cave. And when the floodwaters

1:05.4

began to rise, it became quicker and quicker. And it began to push these boys back deeper into a cave. And it

1:13.8

trapped them for over two weeks. And this was worldwide news. I can remember following the story in the

1:19.2

news. And there were just so many operations of trying to rescue these boys. They were pumping

1:23.9

water out, but the floodwaters were rising so high. They considered drilling into the mountain, all these things and nothing was working. And ultimately, I don't want to ruin it. It is an incredible documentary. I've told so many people to watch it. But ultimately, it came down to these deep cave divers from Britain and around the world that came to help rescue these boys. And it was just this volunteer army,

1:47.6

which coordinated to bring the boys and their coach to the surface through a series of stages,

1:53.3

which is incredible. Once again, you got to watch it. But can you imagine what it was like for

1:58.1

those boys who were deep in the cave in complete blackness for two

2:03.0

weeks and they had been sitting there there was no light anywhere and all of a sudden here came these

2:08.5

divers they could see this light coming through the water of these headlamps and it was their

2:14.0

rescuers in this light that pierced the darkness. And it gave these boys a hope.

2:19.9

And this was not a mission to learn more about the cave.

2:23.1

And it was not a mission to learn more about the different microorganisms inside that cave.

2:28.7

And this was not a mission to add to these divers list of accomplishments.
