0:52.5	the goal is that people would become fully committed radical disciples of Jesus.
0:58.6	And so it shouldn't surprise you that this is what we're talking about because we've been in
1:01.4	the Remnant series walking through the sermon on the Mount and the whole goal was God transform us
1:05.9	from being consumers of Jesus' merit to being disciples of Jesus' way. The whole goal of that was that we would no
1:13.2	longer think of Jesus as get out of hell free card, a prayer that I prayed at vacation Bible
1:18.0	school so that everyone can feel better at my funeral, so I can feel better about the things
1:21.7	that I know nothing about. And just sort of this religion that I ascribe to and this service that I
1:26.8	attend once a week.
1:27.7	No, no. To be a follower of Jesus is to be a fully committed disciple and to say, I want my whole
1:32.8	life to be built around his way of life. And so we've been praying that and we've been believing
1:38.9	that. And I truly believe that the greatest threat to the church in the United States of America, and I do not say this lightly. The greatest threat to the church in the United States of America, and I do not say
1:45.6	this lightly, the greatest threat to the church in the United States of America is not COVID.
1:50.9	It's not anybody on the right side or the left side politically. It's not China or Russia or the
1:57.2	Taliban. I believe this wholeheartedly, and this is how we're leading moving forward.
