Back at it again, it's the Double Play podcast. I'm Dustin Sweetelson, joined as always by Adam Burke.

Another edition of the show, Adam, another weekend through in the Major League Baseball season.

And look, there was a lot that happened on the field, but it's one of those weird times where we're going to start this podcast off talking about some stuff that happened away from the field.

Now, technically, what we're about to discuss happened on the field, but the stories developed off the field

when I awoke from my slumber on a Saturday morning, Adam, and I got a text message from you.

Before we get into the text message and what it said, I promise there was no pictures, no dirty,

revealing things.

HR does listen to this.

We are co-workers.

We cannot cross any boundaries here on this on this podcast.

But first, how you doing, man? Oh, I'm, I'm living the dream, my friend. We're getting deep into the

baseball season here. It's allergy season out here in Las Vegas, which is a whole hell of a lot of fun,

especially when it's windy. And then I had two weddings and a meet and greet cocktail reception Thursday, Friday,

Saturday.

So on top of feeling like shit, I had a lot of course light.

So it was, it was an interesting Sunday of doing absolutely nothing.

I'm just going to be honest with you.

I think the hardest part to recover from is all the socializing. Like,

I've reached the point in my adult life where I can carve out some time for social hours and

like being around human beings. But as a single 39 year old male, I like my alone time. And I think

that much socializing, I would probably need a day off to recover from.
