Crowd strike experience is a major outage.

Netflix tops expectations, and a line is partnering with Costco. A major Microsoft outage led to the blue screen of death on several window systems,

while users worldwide were unable to access Microsoft 365 services.

This was caused by a glitch in an update of Crowdstrikes

Cybersecurity Platform Falcon Sensor.

Microsoft said it resolved the issue overnight.

Microsoft also resolved a majority of its cloud services that were hit by the

outage in the Central U.S. region, which began around 6 PM Eastern time on Thursday.

A small subset is still experiencing residual impact.

Air travel also hit a snag due to the outage.

Frontier Airlines cancelled 149 flights on Thursday and delayed 211 others because of the

Azure Outage.

Frontier updated at midnight that they are in the process of resuming flight operations.

Sun country and Allegiant also delayed and cancelled flights on Thursday.

This outage hit back in operations at multiple industry sectors, including airlines that we just talked

about, banks, hospitals, and broadcast media around the world. Crowd strike is down 13% pre-market.

Netflix is down 1.2% pre-market following its earnings report.

The company surpassed revenue growth and user growth expectations in its second quarter earnings,

though free cash flow took a step back. Revenues grew 17% to 9.559 billion topping consensus expectations for 9.53 billion, largely on the back of

user growth.
