telling CNN just a moment ago that a meeting with President President Vladimir Putin is not

conditional on Putin sitting down

with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. This has gaps seem to be forming between the U.S.

and Russia over details of a potential summit between the two leaders in coming days.
