I recite the surat al-Najim today and surat al-Najim.

There is a verse that I want to comment on a little bit.

Allah says in the Quran,

the righteous are those who avoid the kabaair,

avoid the big of the sins and of the evil deeds,

and they don't have to avoid the lemam,

illa lemam, it is allowed, a lemam.

So it is as if Allah is categorizing sins in the Quran.

Allah is differentiating between sins and Allah is saying

that the righteous are those who yajur tanibuna kabaair al-Ithmi wal-Fawahish.

They avoid the kabaair of the sins,

and then Allah makes an exception illa lemam.

If the righteous commits a lemam,

we'll translate this in a while,

that doesn't negate from them being righteous.

So this leads us to the very interesting, very detailed discussion

which we're going to very quickly summarise

because always time is against us.
