Summary

We all have seasons in our lives in which nothing seems to be happening. This is to be expected; when we find ourselves in a dry season, we maintain our faith as believers by trusting in and relying on God. There are plenty of things we can trust and rely on, but we succeed when we make God, and God only, our confidence and hope. His Word is the doorway to manifestations; studying and applying it is the solution to moving through whatever situation shows up. Conversely, neglecting it and paying more attention to the things of the world causes hardness of heart and blocks what we are waiting to experience. God can do powerful things in our lives, but only if we cooperate with Him by focusing on what He says and screening out all distractions. By steadfastly working our faith until we see what God has promised, we will see results.

0:20.5	maintaining faith during a dry season. Now think about that. Maintaining
0:28.6	your faith during or
0:35.0	all of us have experienced a dry season and
0:38.0	I'm sure a lot of us have experienced a dry season
0:40.0	and maybe when we were trying to operate in faith and maybe when we were trying to, you know, do what we are learning about faith.
0:47.5	And I don't know, it's like stalk time. It just seemed like nothing was coming out of the ground.
0:52.2	Maybe it seemed like, you know, manifestations were not happening.
0:54.8	Maybe it seemed like, you know, I'm discouraged
0:57.4	the more, like I'm under a big-time attack.
1:00.8	But I want to show you, not just talk about maintaining your faith during the dry season,
1:06.0	but I want to show you how to do that.
1:08.0	Now I want you to pay attention to this first scripture, this is our text scripture. If you have your Bibles or whatever you have
1:15.2	go to Jeremiah chapter 17 verse 7 through 8 and I'm going to read it out of the
1:21.2	NLT Jeremiah 17 verses and I'm going to read it out of the N.L.T.
