I want to take a minute and just say thank you for everyone who continues to leave reviews

and encourages over here at the podcast.

So many things are happening.

I just got back from Lincoln, Nebraska.

My husband and I spoke for a conference there, and we were reminded and we say this often

to each other that the state of our country right now, and really the state of the world

doesn't matter where you go, it could be, you know, it could be Eastern, Eastern Tennessee

or Northwest Washington state, the spirit of the ages hard at work to discourage families

and to discourage us from wanting to invest in and pour into the ones that God has entrusted

to us.

I've spent a fair amount of time over the years talking about politics here and something

that I often say is that we need to understand again the importance of the word jurisdiction.

In other words, what area does God give us responsibility for?

Well, we know as Christians that our very first responsibility starts with our own families
