But let's start with a question from Sherry that trips up a lot of people, including experience and longstanding fans.

So this will be a good one to cover. Sherry asks, could you explain how F1 is governed?

I'm a new fan and trying to sort out how the FIA, F1, Liberty Media, the circuits and the teams will fit together to decide what the rules are and who can join the grid is very confusing to me.

So guys, this is actually something that I find confusing at times, but let me just lay out what I think at how this works.

If you bring a bunch of friends to a go-kart track for an evening, you're like the organizer and it's your event.

But once you get there, you kind of hand over to the circuit officials and they run it, they enforce the rules, they give you a black flag.
