the international break.

I'm a big fan of the pod.

I just wanted to thank Laurie for covering my country, Jamaica, so thoughtfully and eloquently

in your recent article for The Athletic, even though things didn't end the way we hoped, I'm so optimistic we can make it through to the playoffs. And he says, my best friend Michael Black, is a fellow Jamaican and United fan too. He'd love a shout-out. There you go, Michael and Joseph. You've had it. A little bit of love there, Laurie. and you know Trafford on Monday night, there was a lot of people wanting to talk about your exploits in the Caribbean. There was, yes. I mean, it was quite a departure from 30 degrees, a t-shirt, shorts, weather, watching Jamaica v. Currasow to then, jumper, big coat, minus three degrees, sort of, to watch United v. Everton. Still no goals for either of the teams that I kind of wanted to win the games. When was the last time you saw someone score? I suppose you saw Keenan and Judesby Hall score, actually. That's a mute question, sorry. Yeah, thanks for that. Let's not go back into that. Well, listen, maybe I'd need to stay away from football for a little bit.

But no, yes, and can I reveal to listeners, you know, your mockery of my detail that I provided on the cuisine that I was eating in Jamaica and how you sort of thought that people wouldn't be interested.

People don't care.

Well, actually, Ian, I'm scrolling the comments on YouTube. I could read out several, but one said, as a Jamaican, I could tell it was KFC. Jamaica's KFC, a local street restaurant, you know, Jerkstan, Devon House for Pastries, are Jamaica's food staple. So it seems like I'd hit the mark and, yeah, big love. So yeah,

thank you to everybody that was very kind to me about my trip. Slightly more of a expedition

than Braga was. Similar kind of vibes to both of them, intrepid explorer that I am. But yeah,

I appreciate the hospitality that was shown, particularly in a difficult time for Jamaica,

obviously with the hurricane that hit. It was really eye-opening to hear from people that had been affected

and seeing the affected areas. I spoke to one guy whose family was over there and he was trying

to get support to them. So it's still a country that is coming through a troubled time, but
