Welcome everybody, this is the second mailbag episode.

This is for all the people who have gone on Apple.

You have been so loyal to nothing personal and I appreciate that.

We all do here, especially Koka.

He's got a job.

And what you did is you rated, you reviewed five stars on Apple and then you asked questions

and once a month at the end of the month, I promised to answer as many questions as I can.

And there have been some great ones.

I'm getting right to it.

The first question was very down and dirty and simple.

Why were the Marlins never competitive after 2003?

Let me start by taking Umbridge with the form of that question.

The Marlins were absolutely competitive after 2003.

As a matter of fact, in 2004 and 2005, we were in the Wildcard hunt.

I remember very clearly at the end of the season in 2005, it was a game in Houston against

Roger Clemens that was started by Don Trell Willis after Roger Clemens' mother had passed

away and we thought that we had a great opportunity to either pass Houston or pet our lead.

We scored a bunch of runs off Clemens that year, that game and we ended up losing the

game and I'm not sure we won another game, but we had competitive competitive games in

05.

Then we tore the team down and started with all rookies in 2006.
