Minnesota Vikings, the offensive coordinator, first year has been sacked. So as the Vikings go into

the most important stretch of the season, they're sacking their playcaller after their 21-7 loss on Monday night to Seattle.

What did you make of it?

I felt like this has been coming.

Jeff and I talked a couple conversations since I've been here.

Mike Zimmer has been adamant about running the football one.

He wanted the Minnesota Vikings to run the football more often.

They hadn't been doing it.

And so when he had taken that to press and let the media know that he wants to run

the ball and then you look at the Vikings and they don't show a strong commitment to the

run, throwing a couple losses, you know it was only a matter of time before John D.

Filippo took the better end of that.

When we look at the numbers that back up what Bucky was saying, last year the Vikings

average 122.3 rushing yards per game this year, 85.4, their running game is ranked 30th in the NFL.

So this is, as Bucky said, probably was coming. But Di Filippo was mentioned or was he mentioned
