We begin with a correction at Kevin Keatsman has issues, and normally that would be a very

serious thing, but this one is kind of tongue-in-cheek and we're going to have a little bit of fun with.

Indeed, it is a full correction. So let's start right there. I had a very astute listener, send me an email, and there's some comedy in all of this as it unfolds,

because it's the only email I got about the correction, and I probably should have gotten

a hundred. To be honest, it says an awful lot about the Kansas City Royals that I only got one

email about a correction for Tuesday's podcast. When I was talking about the Monday night game

between the Royals and the Padres, where Michael Walker, the Padres pitcher went seven no-hit innings against the Royals. Michael Massey got a base hit in the eighth to break up the no-hitter. And I mentioned on Tuesday's podcast that Waka, who had 100 pitches at the time, had been taken out of the game. And I can't believe they did that in front of a full house that the guy clearly could throw 120 pitches. I would have just told him to go out there, throw strikes. If somebody gets a

hit or hits a home run, big deal, they were up by a large margin at that point. And I got it

wrong because it definitely was Michael Walker who started the eighth inning and gave up the base

hit to Michael Massey of the Royals and didn't

know this.

I explained to the emailer why it happened.

And there's a lot of commentary in here and none of it's good for the Royals.

Okay.

I was fighting like mad to stay awake.

And so here's what I was doing.

We went to bed.

We went to bed, I don't know, 10, 10, 10, 10, 10, 15, 10 o'clock, ish. And we typically watch about a half an hour of 30, 40 minutes of sitcoms or something silly in bed before we go to sleep. And I'm fighting it. And I'm trying to watch this Royals game and Jessica's snoring. She's out. And I'm, uh, I'm fighting it. And so I'm looking for the no hitter and

nothing else. So when the Padres are batting in the bottom of the seventh, I'm out. I'm out, man. I'm out. And I hear, you know, Ryan's voice or something. And I'm nodding in and out. And I wake up

and Massey's on first base. And I'm blurry-eyed and they show the replay of him getting the
