Some people are saying that it is devastating.

Others are saying that it's in national interest.

We're not talking about Iran.

Trump has signed an executive order invoking the Defense Production Act, and this boosts

the domestic production of glyphosate, which is an herbicide.

The administration said that it's important for national security, military readiness,

and food supply resilience.

We're going to have a little Maha conversation here.

Okay, so Maha is angry and disappointed.

They say that a lot of the science behind it groups glyphosate to cancer and other health concerns.

But there's a faction saying, yeah, but we need it for our ag.

Look, the science is mixed on this and whether or not glyphosate is harmful or not.

It's certainly one of the big reasons why we can generate so many strong crops out of an acre

because it helps manages it's an herbicide and helps kill other weeds.

And, you know, that's a reason why we can have such amazing great food production in this country.

But what I appreciate most about this is that we're actually having a conversation about it.

And that's what I appreciate most about Donald Trump and RFK Jr. being the head of the Health and Human

Services, so, you know, secretary, for 75 years, we've just kind of feels like we've been just

walking blindfolded through how we consume our food and how we produce our food. And the government puts out this awful food pyramid 50 or 60 years ago that shows that we should be eating grains above everything else when actually it's probably not the best thing for us.

But it really does feel like our food supply, how our food is manufactured in this country, probably not going in the right direction.

And nobody really wanted to talk about it.

And nobody wanted to do anything about it.
