We thought we would take this time to share some uplifting holiday stories that remind us of the

magic of the season.

So just sit back and pretend that you're just sitting around the fire with a sipping and eggnog or a cup of tea and listen to some of these lovely uplifting stories. You want to start us off, Deb? I'm happy to do so, Samantha.

Okay, this one says.

A man who was dying from cancer

and living alone on the streets of Colorado

used what little he had to give a selfless gift during a toy drive at a local Walmart.

When Glenn McCarthy walked into Walmart to buy a cup of coffee, he saw the toy drive that was going on and decided to buy a Barbie and a hot wheel set.

But he couldn't stop thinking about a shiny new kid's bike he saw. And then he looked at the bike and the bike was marked $59

with a tag underneath it said 44. Now that might not feel like a lot of money for some, but for Glenn it was almost everything he had.

Later that night, he still couldn't stop thinking about the bike and how happy it would make a child on Christmas morning. He walked back to the

Walmart and asked about the bike since the tag listed two different prices. Once a clerk

realized what he was doing, she told him he could have it for $44.

I got to think, and this is probably going to be my last Christmas. I'm no one, so might as well make some little kid happy. It took my losing

everything to realize that I'm happier now in my life than I was when I had big money, he said.

That's a sweet story. You know, Samantha, there's, we have a mutual friend who, what he does for Christmas is he goes into, I don't even know if the stores still have this, but the layaway programs, you know, where parents put stuff on layaway for their kids. He goes into a store and pays off several layaway accounts for people for Christmas.
