About Mr. Jim:

Hi! I'm Jim Jacob, a South Carolina based creator. I started as a podcaster by accident. Our first real episodes on the internet were me trying to find a solution to help tell my sons stories as I was traveling for work. I recorded some stories and hoped that by uploading them to a podcast app, my wife and kids could have easy access to listen. What started as a fix for our family’s bedtime routine interruption has grown into a worldwide audience with hundreds of thousands of listeners. 0:47.0	They were going to Art Camp!
0:51.0	Oh! And this was no ordinary art camp.
0:55.0	They had heard that there was some kind of magical art that happens at this camp and they just

1:02.3	This was a long drive to get to Art Camp. Have you ever been on a
1:06.1	long drive in the car before? Like what's the longest you've been? I think I've driven for maybe 12 hours in one, like without stopping.
1:19.0	Holy smokes, that was a long time and listening to stories like these.
1:24.0	Oh, they make those drives so much more awesome.
1:28.0	Well, as Kale and Jane were sitting there during this long drive, at least they had some paper in their lap that they could draw and doodle on.
1:37.0	Hey, Gail, that is a really cool thing you drew. What is that? said Jane.
1:42.0	Oh, this is a whole like empire you see this is a
1:48.0	castle here and here's a forest with huge creatures and here's all the people in the city.
1:57.0	Wow, that is amazing, said Jane.
2:00.0	Yeah, Kale was a really great artist. He had spent so much time on this project, and it was well worth it.
