Allie. Hey there, everyone. Welcome back to another episode of the Smart Moms Plan Disney podcast.

I am your host, Ali. I'm here today with Katie and with Becky. We are talking about some really funny and fun things today. How are you guys doing?

You know, summer's winding down. The kids are finally back in school. Oh, I feel like you should have

like a song about that. Dancing in the streets, moms everywhere being like, hallelujah, I get my pantry

back. Although school lunch, the price of school lunch has gone up significantly. And I can't

afford $8 a day for lunch. That's crazy. Times five. Times three. Well, yeah. Oh, three for my kids,

but Sean's a teacher as well. So I'm adding in his lunch. It's just getting out of control. Yeah. My kids

pack a lot at the beginning of the year. And then when we all get lazy and tired, we change to buying. And this year I'm like, our lazy, tired habit is going to be too expensive. So I've been telling my older daughter, I'm like, you have to learn to pack your lunch without us telling you to. You just have to get up and do it. It's your responsibility. Please bring your lunch. And I can't remind you. And there's not going to be money on that lunch account. Well, I plan that and then randomly I'll get like $40 has been added to Lakers lunch. And I'm like, Laker, I thought we were having a plan about you taking lunch. And he's like, yeah, but I wanted an extra piece of pizza. I'm like, dude, that's $8 for that extra piece of pizza. You can't do that.

Dang. Next year, my twins go to a new school because they change schools a lot in our district.

And at next year's school, lunch becomes far more a la carte. And you can just buy a bunch of ice creams.

And you can just buy, like, you could buy a lot of, and they're in third grade next year. That's pretty young to have that sort of liberty and freedom with your lunch choices.
