I wanted to take this chance to step back and look at the

18 months of the Trump presidency with Maggie Haberman, the White House

correspondent for the New York Times.

Incredibly well regarded as someone who understands Trump like few others.

Haberman is one of the top reporters in the country and this week she said was

Trump's worst week ever. Of course a week that began in Helsinki Finland at a press

conference we will never forget.

So we'll talk about that with Maggie,

but let's start with some news she broke

just a few minutes before sitting down with me.

The headline from the New York Times says Michael Cohen secretly taped a discussion

with Trump about paying a Playboy model.

This of course is a contradiction of some of what Trump's aides have said publicly in the past

and its new evidence of what Cohen might be able to share with prosecutors against Trump.

And Maggie joins me now here on set in New York.

Maggie, you just sat down here a few minutes ago, you broke a story about Michael Cohen and secret recordings.
