Welcome to The Treatment. I'm Elvis Mitchell. My guest, writer, director, Maggie Carey, has dealt with sexual archetypes since the

beginning of her career. Her new movie, which was originally titled, I think what the hand job?

0:26.6

The hand job. Yep, it was. Yes. I guess they couldn't get that release with a PG-13. Although the movie

0:31.6

doesn't have a PG-13 anyway. It's R. It's right at R. And its current incarnation is called The To Do List. First of all, thanks so much for being here.

0:38.6

1:29.9

1:35.1

And Aubrey and I go way back.

1:36.3

We met at improv classes at Upright Citizens Brigade Theater in New York, and we met there,

1:42.0

and I cast her in the web series and had her in mind the whole

1:45.6

time I was writing the to-do list.

1:47.9

Did you?

1:48.2

She was always going to be your brandy.
