In Europe this week, a wildfire, the size of Paris ripped across southern France, temperature

soared in Spain, and in Geneva, an extraordinary

UN meeting aimed at raining in the global production and pollution of plastic. But across the

ocean in the United States, Trump's MAGA movement is rolling back plans to mitigate climate

change. The Environmental Protection Agency is moving to repeal the so-called endangerment finding,

which says that fossil fuel emissions endanger human health and government can do something about it,

calling it possibly the largest deregulatory action in U.S. history.

And, as we all know, what happens in America does not stay in America

as the world's second largest emitter of greenhouse gases, its actions impact everybody

on the planet. David Wallace Wells is an expert who wrote the book, The Uninhabitable Earth,

and I spoke to him about this latest rollback from New York.
