Not surprisingly. Donald's pardons were never about justice. He doesn't understand the concept of justice.

But when it came to the January 6th insurrectionists, the list of people he pardoned tells you everything you need to know about his priorities, and it also tells you something

we did not know until this week. Did Donald get away with an insurrection against the

government of the United States of America? And the answer is yes. So let's talk about who got that invaluable get out of jail free card.

Who didn't?

And again, what it says about the man who tried to carry out an auto coup and then tried

successfully to rewrite history with a stroke of a pet.

Newly sworn in President Trump issued roughly 1,500 pardons on his first day in office and commuted

the sentences of 14 of his supporters in connection with the January 6th insurrection.

Donald's blanket pardons of the almost 1,500 insurrectionists, men and women who stormed

the Capitol were charged, tried, and convicted for their crimes. So it's apparently a quick

decision to go big. And it reminds us of his

unpredictable thought process, as well as the fact that he seems to have absolutely no concerns,

and why would he, about any political backlash? We were told that he and his team were carefully

parsing who should and who should not get a pardon based upon the severity of their crimes on that very dark day in 2021.

But I guess Donald wasn't that into it because this is what he had to say.

That's right.

Fuck it.

Release them all. The day before Donald pardoned the

interruptionist, Speaker Mike Johnson reiterated Donald's stance on a blanket pardon saying, quote,

I think what the president said and what vice president elected Vance has said is that

peaceful protesters should be pardoned, but violent criminals should not.
