Ron's on vacation. We know about that because we talked about it a little bit last week, and we had pre-recorded a show, but unfortunately, through a technical thing, it kind of, we lost the recording.

So Ben has very kindly taken time out of his nonstop, full-time video making and running this

It's great to be here. And I love that intro music. I think we need that on the Brothers

podcast. I feel pumped up right now.

Right. We just use the same music for every show. Let's just, let's just do that. So the serious thing today, and obviously be a slightly different show because, you know, neither of us are going to pretend to be run. But I really do want to talk about what's going on in D.C. because this morning there was an announcement

from Trump that he has, he's looking to kind of extend this 30-day extension, an extension of taking

over the D.C. Metropolitan Police, bringing in the National Guard and, you know, basically

federalizing D.C. This is problematic and some of us

predicted that the 30-day limit was probably not going to end there. Do you, as I feel,

do you feel as I feel that what we're looking at now is a kind of a whole new side of the

Maga Republican Party where they're just unleashing this authoritarianism.

And the rulebook just has completely gone out the window.

This is all heading for the midterms, isn't it?

This is control of states starting with Washington, D.C.

Yeah.

So they see the writing on the wall in the midterms.
