Ron, how are you doing? Good week? It's been busy. Another busy week. Yeah, well, you are the

editor-in-chief of the mightas touch.com website. So, of course, you're busy. A little bit of

breaking news is that there was a news conference earlier this morning. House Republican leaders

escalated their push to impeach President Biden. That effort has proved to be a bit of a pastiche

of superficial allegations, relying heavily on investigatory work that predates the formal impeachment inquiry that primarily implicates Joe Biden's son Hunter in questionable activity.

But if you tell your fervently anti-Biden base of support that you're trying to impeach the guy, you then have to try and impeach him.

And that is unfortunately where they're at now.

So they're stuck between a bit of a rock and a hard place. And, you know, I think, Ron, you know,

it's it's fair to say, isn't it, that James Comer is the one that's on the back foot here.

Well, that's true because he's the one who really hyped this stuff. And I chronicled this last year before, you know, the Republicans were supremely confident that they were going to get the majority in the House.

They were predicting, you know, a 30 to 50 seat majority in the midterms.

So Comer was making the rounds last year in 2022 saying, I'm going to be the oversight committee

chair when we are the majority and I'm going to impeach Biden and I'm going to do this and I'm

going to do that. And he went on all these shows. And I, I sort of chronicled it for a year

when most people didn't even know who he was. I only paid attention to

him because he was saying all this stuff. And I thought, well, you know, it could, I guess it could

happen. And then lo and behold, now he's the chair, we're one year in and he's accomplished nothing.

And so, yes, he's on the hot seat, very much on the hot seat, to make something happen

and to come up with some solid proof because he's starting to look like a fool.

Well, could that not be because he is a fool, Ron?
