So Ron Filipkowski, let's dive straight in because we've got a lot to talk about today.

Oh, I should incidentally say that we are recording this episode yesterday, so because of vacations and various things.

Ron DeSantis, who started out really everybody, and you know, you're in Florida, so you kind of have form with this guy, he started

out as being quite a viable candidate to take on Donald Trump. That story now seems to have

really turned on its cowboy heels, hasn't it? Yeah, he's had the worst week of the campaign so far.

This week has been just a complete disaster,

and his campaign has really imploded.

And really what it all goes back to

is the beginning of his campaign back in March

when he first kicked it off

in terms of how the financing structure was set up.

And that we've really never had a person, a serious presidential candidate run before who is so reliant on a super PAC, on a third party.

What I mean by that is normally like a presidential campaign they have their campaign account and those

are hard donor money that's money that comes in that's capped that's limited per person and you have

you know millions or tens of thousands of grassroots donations that's that's what trump has and then

trump also has his independent pack that he formed.

And there's some other packs like the Save America one where big,

big donors can park their money.

So typically you'd have like a 50-50 split of pack money and hard money and invite
