Summary

In this episode of MURDERISH, Jami sits down with her friend and fellow podcaster, Madison McGhee, to discuss Madison’s investigation of her father’s murder. Madison’s father, John Cornelius “J.C.” McGhee, was gunned down in the doorway of his own home in Belmont County, Ohio in 2002. His case has remained unsolved since then. As a child, Madison was told that her father died from a heart attack. It wasn’t until Madison was 16 years old that she learned the truth about his untimely death. In 2023, Madison launched Ice Cold Case, the podcast, a serialized investigative podcast that seeks to solve J.C.’s cold case. Madison’s grass-roots investigation has unearthed a plethora of information in her father’s case.
