Hey, if you have your copy of scripture, why don't you open up to the book of acts,

Acts chapter 2, and I'm just going to read you our scripture that we're going to dig into today.

It begins at verse 41.

What we're looking at is really a snapshot

of the birth of the New Testament Church.

The Holy Spirit has fallen

and tremendous things are beginning to take place.

In Acts Chapter 2, verse verse 41 it says those those who received his word speaking

of Peter Peter just preached his guts out those who received his word were baptized

and they were added that day about 3,000 souls.

That's a fast-growing church people.

And all who believed were together and had all things in common and they were selling their possessions and belongings and distributing the proceeds to all as any had need.

And they devoted themselves to the Apostles teaching and to fellowship to the

breaking of bread and prayers and all came upon every soul and many wonders and signs were being done through the apostles,

praising God and having favor with all the people.

And the Lord added to their number day by day those who are being saved.
