Maddie Mara is the pen name of Australian creative duo Hillary Rogers and Meredith

Badger. Hillary and Meredith have been collaborating on books for children for nearly two decades

and now have come out with the Dragon Girls series. It's their first time co-writing under the name

Maddie Mara, which is the melding of their respective daughters' names. Hillary is an author

and former publishing director,

who has created several series that have sold into the millions.

Meredith is the author of countless books for kids and young adults,

and also teaches English as a foreign language to children.

Wow, I wonder how many books you have to write to consider them countless.
