And Jeff Rancourt recently told this story about Greg Maddox and how he would sign autographs.

And this prank that he would pull on fans, especially ones that he thought were getting the autographs to then sell them.

Like, I'm sure that's a worry you've had as an athlete. Yeah. That it's not just some kid getting your autograph. It's a dude who's going to turn around and sell it. So here is Jeff Rancourt telling the Greg Maddox autograph story. And he was like, hey, Rook, let's go sign some balls. So I'm like, okay, so, you know, I follow him over there and we start signing,

but all I see is I'm like number 31 and I'm like, that doesn't say Maddox. He signed like 20

balls Jeffrey Dahmer and was signing it for all these. Now the kids, I give Maddox credits,

all the kids he would put Greg Maddox, but the old guys that he thought were going to sell the balls, he was writing Jeffrey Dahmer

number 31.

You ever try that, too?

I'm assuming that his autograph was somewhat illegible.

Because how could you look at that and be like,

oh yeah, that says Greg Maddox?

Yeah, I mean, I know a lot of autographs are illegible.
