Welcome to Mean Age Daydream. I feel like I can't seem to get a good recording schedule going here because last week, my kid was homesick. She's homesick again today for a different reason, like an injury reason. I just can't seem to get this kid to go to school or go to camp and not be bothering me during these recordings.

But that's parented, right?

At least school starts up for me next week.

Some of these people, their kids have been school for like three weeks.

I don't get it.

When I was a kid, I remember summer being long.

And I don't know if things have changed, if it's a different world out there now than

it used to be as far as scheduling, if they stagger these things. I don't know, but like,

when I was a kid, it was definitely end of summer. Like, you know, my kids going back on like the

26th or something. That's what I remember it being. I mean, I swear to God, I thought you

remember maybe in September it started.

And now these kids get out so early, like, May, they're out right around, which is annoying.

Children, stop bothering me year round. Can we just solidify it? So all the kids are out being

annoying at once. All the little scum hounds are at the gym,
