Apologies, it's going to be a little bit of shorter show. I've got my daughter home with me today.

We are going to be heading out to the Science Center to do some learning because dad effed up.

And she's supposed to go on a field trip with

her camp today and I didn't know you had to sign up by last Thursday, mainly because the

idiots working there never told anybody. Not that I knew. No emails, no reminders. So I go this,

I go yesterday or Monday actually and I go, hey, you know, I'm going to sign up for the field trip Wednesday and they tell me too late. So I'm taking her anyway, just me. I'm going to take her. I'm going to surprise. I'll be like, guess what? So anyway, got to do shorter show because of that. But there are a lot of things to talk about today.

I mean, number one is that the National Guard officially has arrived in Washington, D.C.

Now, the question here, as with any military deployment, is whether or not the safety was needed or the, I say, to amend the situation in Washington, D.C., which, of course, is bad.

It is a very violent city.

It is very high crime rates, and I do not believe for a second.

And it's actually a very touchy point with me that so many people that I've seen on the libertarian side are citing these completely fabricated

statistics about a drop in violent crime in Washington, D.C., which we'll get into in a minute.

But we're seeing the troops deployed, and it begs the question, at what point does the safety of the population warrant a military deployment?
