Finally, finally we've got a day in mid-sense.

This morning we learned that the Chinese government may be willing to level the playing field

on trade, at least to a certain extent.

The PRC's scrapping, the Made in China 2025 plan, we hope, which was the Communist Party's

attempt to dominate high-tech manufacturing by favoring domestic players and shutting

out foreigners.

With China perhaps backing away, you notice I had to pull these hedge words, right?

Perhaps backing away from the digital, great leap forward.

That is a real win for the United States.

Which is why the Dow gained 157 points while the S&P jumped 0.454% and as that pulled 1.95%

and by the way we were up even more before the late afternoon pullback.
