Oh, it's the best thing in the world when you're a consumer, isn't it?

It's how you get lower prices, better products.

The competition is the worst thing in the world

when you're running a business.

Or, of course, you have shares in that business.

I think that's the biggest lesson from the companies that have reported this week.
