Hey, I'm Kramer. Welcome to Mad Money. It's CBC One Market in San Francisco. Welcome to Kramer,

0:18.4

I'll be one of my friends. I'm just trying to make you some money. My job, not just to entertain

you, but to educate and teach you. So call me at 1-800-743-CMBC or tweet me at Jim Kramer.

At the end of the day, investing is all about searching for good stories. We're constantly

0:34.8

of a hunt for powerful long-term themes that can transcend whatever might happen with tires,

0:39.6

or trade, or inflation, or interest rates, or any of the other big picture issues that

0:43.6

control the market on a day-to-day basis, including today, where the Dow gained 55 points,

the S&P advanced 0.28% in the NASDAQ 0.65%. But it's not enough just to find a transcendent theme.

1:37.7

you even knew you wanted them, right? That's how Apple became the largest company on Earth,

1:42.1

with a trillion dollar market capitalization. And hey, when you see the stock jump four bucks

1:46.6

today on a very big, very big vine, it can JP Morgan issues a buy recommendation based on the

1:52.5

strength of its new products. And the ever-burshing service stream I always talk about, it's easy to

1:57.5

understand the power of personalization. Oh, and of course, Amazon. I mean, it does the exact same

2:03.6

thing. Hence why it's also close to a trillion dollar valuation of its own. But this year,
