When we stop rallying on the sale of old information, when we stop being so greedy,

we stop being a little more cautious.

It's hard to tell because we keep getting such a good backdrop.

The kind of backdrop that encourages investors to keep taking risks, maybe too much risk.

Even with today's pullback, Dow slipping 130-3 points,

S-2V-Backsley 0.9%, 29%, Nasdaq losing 0.27%,

the market's had a remarkable run this week.

And what a week!

We almost went to war and then we didn't go to war.

We almost didn't get a trade deal and now we know it's coming next Wednesday.

Then this morning we were worried that the Labor Department's non-Farm payroll report might come in too hot.

If employment's too strong, that might wake up the Fed before some start publicly.

Now we go off about inflation!

We had a bunch of Fedgover speaking next week and that could have gotten real ugly.
