Welcome back to the house guest podcast. Today we have everyone's favorite house guest and my new business partner,

Macy Thompson. Hey guys, I read a book. That's really still up for debate, guys. I don't know if she's

read this book. She said seven weeks to read this book. She started before me. She somehow arrives in Nashville yesterday. She told me on FaceTime that she was 70% of the way through. I knew she was lying, but I let her have it because she's had quite a week. And she gets here. I take her Kindle out of her hands. I look 47%. In my defense, other books that I read says the percentage, like in the bottom left corner.

This one wasn't giving that.

So I was just kind of guessing that I was 70% way through it.

Because I was like, I have to be 70%.

Like it has to be wrapping up soon.

And then I checked into it was 47.

I was like, oh, no, we haven't even gotten to like the conflict.

Totally. This is a book club episode. We are recapping One Golden Summer by Carly Fortune,

but if you didn't read the book, it doesn't matter. We're going to give you, it's just going to be

a really funny episode. Also, we're someone bucket list. We're going to talk about our new endeavor.
