Good morning and welcome to Morning Glory. It's coming up to three minutes past six. It is Thursday. It is the 10th of July, ladies and gentlemen. We're into double digits and things ain't looking any better, I'm afraid. We wake at every morning.

There's news, hopefully, that things are going to improve in the country, that somehow Kirstehram is going to break his duck and actually introduce some kind of policy that makes some sense,

that actually does some good, that actually improves our lives. We hope every single day we wake up

with, you know, some zeal in our hearts and hope in our eyes and all the rest of it. It starts

to sound like you'll never walk alone. But no, this is the thing. But unfortunately, I'm afraid

I haven't got any great news for you this morning, because I'm afraid it's all pretty, pretty awful. Apparently, according to the front page of the Daily Telegraph,

benefits pay more than being at work. So basically, no incentive if you're on benefits to go to any sort of

working scenario, because you'll actually end up about £2,000 worse off. Proof that work doesn't pay under Labor, so as a daily mail.

Sickness benefits to be worth two and a half thousand pounds a year more than the minimum wage

as a disincentive to work grows.

Cammy Badenock yesterday told Kirstama that we are basically a benefits society with a country

attached.

And I think that's a very, very similar point of view that we've been making for quite a long time. An awful lot of people feeling

that the country has just become incredibly unfair because not only are hardworking people

getting taxed more, but they're having to pay more out so people who don't do any work.

And of course, we'll have the same arguments about people

who sometimes deserve benefits, sometimes need to help because they're disabled. Of course,

all of that is true, but there's way too many people now on the benefit system and it's simply

not sustainable. The other big story, of course, is after the summit yesterday between Emmanuel Macron

and Kirstama, a kick in the Gauls is what it says on the front page of the sun.

France is going to take back just 50 migrants a week in the New Deal with the Prime Minister.
