Waverly Hills submitted by Brad. For our wedding anniversary this year, I decided to surprise my wife with tickets for a public

overnight investigation at Waverly Hill Sanitarium.

A few weeks before we were supposed to be there, I had fractured my foot and I was put into a boot.

Knowing that the place is five stories tall and a very big building, I decided to bear with the pain and we decided to still go.

On our way up to the fifth floor to do a spirit box session with a couple of tour guides and about a group of eight other people,

I was slowly going up the stairs due to the boot and my fractured foot. As we were

walking up, I was chatting with a tour guide about how I fractured my foot. On the fifth floor,

the tour guides we were with started up the spirit box and put a flashlight on the ledge of the window.

If you've ever watched any of those paranormal shows, then you know about the flashlight.

Most investigators will ask if any spirits are present

to turn the flashlight on. Over the course of five minutes, we got very few words on the spirit

box and the flashlight was never turned on.

When the guy had asked if anything present wanted to talk to someone in the group,

that is when the flashlight turned on for a few seconds and then turned off. He then proceeded to point to every person in the group

and asked if it was them they wanted to talk to. The spirit box was quiet and the flashlight never turned on.

When our tour guide pointed at me, the flashlight kept lighting up, turning off, and over the spirit box we heard, foot, foot, foot, our tour guide

knew about my fractured foot quickly pointed it out. When they asked again if they

wanted to talk to me, over the spirit box came, see foot and break.
