I've never really used one before.

It seems the use of a machete is always waving it wildly over your head and you're

usually targeting brush. That is my understanding of it. It is a brush-whacking device.

Obviously, it can be used as a weapon, but it seems mostly like I'm in thick brush.

I need to move through it.

So I just got to keep swinging at stuff.

And it does look fun to do, but tiring.

So I'm relatively neutral because I get tired easily.

But I also like whacking at things.

So, you know, I can be sold on the concept.

Yeah.

I think the movies really undersell how weary and uncool you would look after basically doing the yard work of macheteering through a large section of a thickly underbrushed area.
