that's likely slower than people are used to?

Sell-outs and long waits. True to its word on Wednesday, Apple began taking orders for the new Mac Pro on Thursday with a relatively short wait time for a very short time.

The Mac observer says orders started with projected

shipping dates of December 30th. Too late for Christmas but still hitting

offices, homes, and home offices before the end of the year.

A few hours after orders began, the ship date for the new computer was pushed out

to February. As was mentioned here yesterday, the new Mac Pro starts at $2,999 that

you can drive that price pretty far north. The Mac observer says the pole on that end ends at $9,599 with all the
