Jasmine Lou may have been the straw that made the camel say seriously, fellas, I need a minute.

Lou was the Morgan Stanley supply chain analyst who earlier this week worked on a report with Katie

Huberty that ended with Huberty dropping her 12-month price target on Apple shares. with the number of iPhones it expects to see sold in fiscal year 2016, though

Huberty called that reduction a worst-case scenario and said that movement in

China could create upside for iPhone sales.

But you know people.

Several reports yesterday had financial analysts cutting price targets and iPhone sales expectations

for the current fiscal year.

Barons had credits at Clements had credits Sweet's analyst Kibinder Garca dropping iPhone. for the current fiscal year, Barron's side-credits Swiss analyst

clubinder Garca dropping iPhone sales estimates for the current quarter

from 78 million units to 77, while expectations for next quarter

were cut from 55 million units to 52 million. He apparently just

sees those reductions as speed bumps though. Quoting the analyst. Longer term

we continue to believe Apple will sustain high retention rates, continued

install-based growth, and the optionality of a smaller 4-inch iPhone.
